Illovo Sugar (Malawi) plc is the country’s leading producer of raw, refined and specialty sugars; employing more than 9000 employees. Illovo Sugar (Malawi) plc is part of Illovo Sugar Africa Group; a wholly‑owned subsidiary of Associated British Foods plc (ABF).

*Duties and Responsibilities*

- Transports tools, materials and staff to various workstations

- Transports company material/goods (pumps. Electric motors, transformers etc.) to various places outside the estate for repairs and installation

- Takes company vehicle to CFAO, Stansfield and Toyota Malawi for services

- Maintains the vehicles by physically checking engine oil, water levels, tyre pressure, battery, braking systems among others to ensure that the vehicles are in good running condition to avoid accidents

- Refuels the vehicles at the filling station using fuel allocation card to ensure that the vehicles have the required amount of fuel before departure

- Maintains the vehicles by cleaning to ensure vehicles are clean and reports any faults to relevant personnel for repairs at the transport workshop

- Promote and adhere to Illovo’s procedures, policies and guidelines, including, without limitation, those relating to SHEQ, Competition Law and Anti‑Bribery and Corruption (ABC)

*Job Requirements*

- Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE)

- Driving License‑Class C1

- 2 Years work experience

- Good communication and reporting skills
