About the Role:

The Lilongwe Academy International School is seeking a dynamic, organized, and results-oriented Cambridge International Education Programmes Coordinator to oversee the planning, implementation, and quality assurance of Cambridge programmes (Primary, Lower Secondary, IGCSE, and AS/A Levels). The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining academic excellence and ensuring alignment with the standards of Cambridge Assessment International Education.


Position: Cambridge International Education Programmes Coordinator (tenable Lilongwe)


🎯 Duties and Responsibilities:


Among other duties the successful candidate will be expected to perform the following duties:

  • Coordinate and manage all Cambridge International academic programmes and examinations.
  • Support teachers in curriculum planning, delivery, and assessment in line with Cambridge standards.
  • Analyzing marks for continuous assessment, end-of-term, and Cambridge examinations.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with Cambridge Assessment International Education and other stakeholders.
  • Upholding exemplary practices and continuing to exceed international standards.
  • Organize professional development and training for Cambridge teachers.
  • Monitor student progress and facilitate interventions for academic improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with Cambridge administrative and examination regulations.
  • Prepare periodic reports for management and accreditation purposes.


✅ Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience teaching or coordinating Cambridge International programmes.
  • Strong understanding of Cambridge curriculum frameworks, policies, and examination procedures.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in ICT and online learning platforms.
  • Teachers Council of Malawi Registration Certification.
