1. Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Mvungi Job Masters platform (the "Service"), operated by Mvungi Masters (Trading Name: Mvungi Job Masters, Registration Number: BRN-M7SRLJG, "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1.1 Acceptance of Terms

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Mvungi Job Masters. We may update these Terms at any time; continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

1.2 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement.

1.3 User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

1.4 Services Provided

• AI-powered assessment of your profile, job matching, and automated generation and submission of personalized applications (including CV tailoring and cover letters).
• Free HR dashboard for employers to post jobs, view applicants, and manage recruitment.
• Career development tools (CV optimization, cover-letter generation, skill-gap suggestions), internship/volunteer placements, and analytics.

We do not guarantee job placement, interviews, or hiring. Applications are generated and submitted on your behalf using AI based on the information you provide.

1.5 User Responsibilities & Authorization

• Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information in your profile and CV.
• Job seekers: By using the Service, you explicitly authorize Mvungi Job Masters and its AI systems to assess your profile, match you to opportunities, generate or customize CVs/cover letters, and automatically submit applications on your behalf.
• Employers: You warrant that job postings are genuine, non-discriminatory, and comply with all applicable Malawian laws.
• Do not misuse the Service (e.g., spam, upload malicious content, impersonate others).

1.6 AI Usage and Limitations

Our artificial intelligence analyzes your profile, generates content (CVs, cover letters, etc.), and submits applications. While we continually improve accuracy, AI outputs may contain errors or omissions. You remain responsible for the accuracy of all submitted materials. We do not warrant that AI-generated content will always be perfect or result in employment.

1.7 Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content are owned by Mvungi Job Masters. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, store, modify, and process your uploaded data (including CVs and profiles) to deliver and improve the Service.

1.8 Prohibited Activities

• Violating any laws or regulations.
• Discriminatory, harassing, or fraudulent behavior.
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, interfere with, or overload the Service.

1.9 Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and without prior notice.

1.10 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mvungi Job Masters shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

1.11 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Malawi.

2. Privacy Policy

Mvungi Job Masters is committed to protecting your privacy. This Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information.

2.1 Information We Collect

• Personal Data: Name, email, phone number, address, education, work history, CV/resume, skills, qualifications, and any other information you provide.
• Usage Data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and interactions with the Service.
• Sensitive Data: We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data (e.g., race, ethnicity, religion, health) unless you voluntarily include it in your CV or profile.

2.2 How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account.
• To power AI assessment, job matching, CV/cover-letter generation, and automated application submission.
• To allow employers to view applicant profiles and contact candidates.
• To provide career tools and personalized recommendations.
• To improve our AI models and overall Service.
• To send service updates, application status notifications, and (with opt-out) marketing communications.
• For analytics, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.

2.3 Sharing & Disclosure of Your Information

• With Employers: Your profile, CV, and generated application materials are shared with employers when we submit applications on your behalf or when they view matched candidates.
• With Third-Party AI & Career Service Providers: Only when you explicitly request features such as premium CV redesign, professional writing assistance, or advanced career coaching, we may share relevant portions of your data with trusted third-party partners solely to deliver that requested service.
• With Service Providers: Hosting, cloud storage, analytics, email delivery, and payment processors who are bound by strict confidentiality agreements.
• As Required by Law: To comply with legal obligations, enforce our rights, or protect the safety of users.

We do not sell your personal data for marketing purposes.

2.4 Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures (encryption, access controls, regular audits). However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

2.5 Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide the Service and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion at any time.
