PRODEO – MAINTENANCE PLANNER
Location: Malawi
Contract: 6-month contract (possible extension)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to create and maintain effective maintenance plans, schedule activities, and ensure maximum equipment uptime and productivity.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain maintenance plans for equipment and facilities
- Schedule maintenance activities and ensure work is carried out as planned
- Minimize disruption to production and safety
- Develop and maintain a spare parts inventory
- Analyze equipment downtime and identify improvement opportunities
- Participate in capital projects to improve reliability and performance
- Monitor maintenance costs and find cost reduction opportunities
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Provide training and guidance to maintenance technicians
Job Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in maintenance planning and scheduling
- Knowledge of maintenance management software (PRONTO or similar)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
